With only a fragment of the past freight hauled by this line, the end has looked bleak since 2001, but the positive-thinking City of Prineville has decided to keep the railroad alive as a marketing tool. It has slowly start"to work. Hopefully, they will someday see traffic levels like yesteryear. There is one other locomotive owned by the COP, but it was un-shootable at the time of our visit. |
