After getting off work a little early, I grabbed the girlfriend and we hauled down to Eugene, where the train had sat for a few hours. By the time we got there, it was well out of town and into the Cascades we went. I missed it meeting atrain at Fields (because I got lost) so I just headed to the next place I knew for sure how to get to...CP VP537 Cascade Summit. A short wait later yieled this result. |

I was poking around on back roads and he sorta caught me by surpise here. They were hauling ass and right after the train cleared the crossing, something happened. I'm still not sure what, but it required a long stop and for the rear two cars to be set-out. due to shifted loads. I didn't notice anything wrong when they went by me though. |

I tried to get to Calimus before the train came from Chiloquin, but this requires driving on a very narrow dirt road. This was not a problem for me and the truck, but you only have access to the tracks in a few spots, so I decided to stick with this one. |
