That completely-worthless-good-for-nothing "security guard" drove really really slow as close to the tracks as he could and thwarted us from actually being where the meet occured.

MRL/BNSF C-EBMSPB0-26A
Description:
Those cars on the siding are the 840 Local's train for Helena. Knowing the coal would go into a somewhat inaccesible area for a while, we decided to go look for the 849.

Title:
MRL/BNSF C-EBMSPB0-26A assaults Winston Hill
Description:
The only real challenge between Bozeman and Helena is Winston Hill, located just west of Townsend. Loaded coal trains, Boardman trains particularly, encounter this hill with less-than-stellar performance. 12,000HP of SD70MACs have been on the assault for 20 minutes now, and the much lighter 840 Local is rapidly gaining ground....

MRL/BNSF C-EBMSPB0-26A assaults Winston Hill
Description:
You can't see it in this photo, but the 840 Local is following behind at Restricted Speed. The coal train is moving so slow at this point, I was able to walk faster than they were rolling!

MRL/BNSF C-EBMSPB0-26A assaults Winston Hill with the 840 Local following
Description:
Believe it or not, but the head-ends of two trains can be seen in this shot. Obviously the ExecuMacs of the coal train, but, if you look off to the left of the 9800's plow, you can see a dark mass. On examination of the full image on my computer, you can clearly see the headlights and front of the MRL 252!
